Commentary:
Heart
Formula is a rejuvenating combination of herbs
that promotes the proper function of the heart and
circulatory system. As a cardiac tonic, Heart
Formula nourishes and strengthens the heart
muscle, thereby stimulating blood circulation and
allowing an increase of oxygen flow to the heart.
Ingredients such as hawthorn berry and guggulu
promote healthy cholesterol levels, thus aiding in
the defense against arteriosclerosis and coronary
heart disease. Heart Formula may be beneficial for
individuals considered "at risk" for
heart disease, including those who lead stressful
lifestyles, smoke, are overweight, or have a
previous family history of heart disease.
According to Ayurveda, heart conditions often have
an emotional component such as fear, anxiety or
repressed emotions. Heart Formula, taken in
conjunction with rest and the practice of yoga or
meditation, may help release these emotions while
calming and soothing the heart.
